Nawara Alnaddaf is a Syrian singer, oud player, and composer based in Oslo. Her music brings together Arabic classical and folk traditions with contemporary sounds, drawing on the melodies and stories of Syria and the wider Arab world. With her voice and oud at the heart of her work, she creates music that moves between intimacy and energy, tradition and new expression. Nawara studied Arabic music in Syria and later completed a bachelor’s degree in composition and performance at the Norwegian Academy of Music. Her work includes solo projects and collaborations across Norway and beyond.
