What makes a film project connect beyond its country of origin? Which choices might strengthen or limit its journey through international funding, festivals, markets and distribution?

In this live project clinic, three selected filmmaking teams present projects currently in development. Martijn te Pas and Cecilie Bolvinkel of Doc Shelter respond in an open conversation with each team, examining the project’s central idea, artistic approach, presentation and position within the international landscape.

Together, they will identify what is already working, what needs further development and which opportunities or challenges may lie ahead. Rather than a conventional pitch or competition, the session offers a focused working conversation about how a project can become clearer, stronger and better prepared for its next stage.

By bringing this process onto the stage, MIRAGE gives the audience rare access to the questions, decisions and strategic thinking that shape a film long before it reaches the screen.
