Editor Ollie Huddleston & Director Sara Broos
How can we nourish creativity in the relationship between editor and director? Who owns, controls and creates the artistic expression, and how can a healthy editor/director relationship boost artistic creativity in the process of shaping more unique films.

Ollie Huddleston is a highly renowned award-winning film editor with over 30 years of experience. Known for his long time collaboration, working on ten films with Kim Longinotto, six with Sean McAllister, and collaborated with Adam Curtis, Marc Isaacs, Angus Macqueen, Leo Regan, and Aliona Van der Horst, films winning prestigious prizes at international festivals, including Cannes, three at Sundance, and three at IDFA. Ollie has been recognized with two RTS editing awards and received two BAFTA nominations.

In dialogue with and slightly interrogated by Swedish director, artist and editor Sara Broos, who mostly edited her award-winning films alone, or in collaboration with director Stefan Jarl.

Sara Broos is a Dutch - Swedish artist, director and producer based in the Swedish countryside and Berlin. She has a personal approach to storytelling and makes deeply intimate films with a visually poetic and artistic style with her distinct raw authenticity. She has received several awards as a filmmaker and her first feature length documentary, For You Naked (2012) received The Dragon Award at Gothenburg Film Festival.
