The studio's films often appear whimsical, but a light surface higdes a darker complexity. With a big, beating animated heart, Mikrofilm places the director at center stage and has worked with filmmakers such as Kajsa Næss, Torill Kove, Julie Engaas, Inga Sætre, Dag Johan Haugerud, Hanne Berkaak, Kristian Pedersen, Robin Jensen, Annette Saugestad Helland, and Adel Khan Farooq. MIRAGE marks the anniversary with a short-film retrospective, a conversation and a party.
