Every year, MIRAGE invites the beloved film communicator and film buff Kalle Løchen to watch a film with the audience for the very first time.
When the film is over, we hand Kalle a few bottles of wine and invite everyone who wants to discuss, digest and process the film a little further to an informal conversation over a few glasses of wine in Vega’s lower foyer.
No prepared questions, no fixed interpretation. Kalle shares his immediate impressions and questions, the filmmaker will likely join the conversation, and everyone who wants to stay is invited in.
Kalles Corner is a chance to remain with a film a little longer, while the images, sounds and feelings are still fresh — and to get closer to the heart of the film and the thoughts of the filmmaker. An open conversation about cinema, life and Kalle.
